Expectations

  1. You will keep the password to your debate wiki secret. Do not share it with friends you have in the other LC. Respect each LC’s right to keep the Red information Red and the Gold information Gold.
  2. You will have a maximum of five points for both the Affirmative and Negative sides of your debate. You can pick which 5 points you wish to use in the debate.
  3. For each of the points for your Affirmative and Negative constructs, you must have at least 2, preferably 3 pieces of evidence.
  4. You will make a minimum of ten contributions to the “discussion” areas of other wiki pages within your debate topic. These can take the form of:
    • sharing a piece of evidence with an appropriate comment
    • discussing the merits of a point or piece of evidence
    • a question that might be used to challenge a point
  5. All sources are cited appropriately. All sources of information from print text need to be acknowledged at the bottom of the page. For web based sources, a link to the URL needs to be made.
